Pattern Place Magazine, a modular magazine published in 13 versions.

Pattern Place is a project by Anouk Beckers and Alessandra Varisco, grounded in a shared obsession for (paper) patterns. Pattern Place Magazine is a publication developed as part of this project. It was created to share their research and creative practice with a wider community.

The magazine unfolds into one pattern made intuitively based on an image from Vogue September issue 2025, accompanied by texts by Anouk Beckers and Alessandra Varisco, Femke de Vries, Tanveer Ahmed.

This first issue is published in 13 variations, all sharing a pattern made intuitively during a Pattern Place workshop at Modestraat in Amsterdam. For this workshop, 'Image Observation and Garment Translation', they started by selecting images from Vogue September issue 2025.
